Subtitled “funk classics from sassy soulsisters” this album’s sentiment may have it’s heart in the right place, but it fails to describe the full picture here. These women are sexually, emotionally and vocally aggressive, leaving their men in no doubt as to who wears the trousers in their respective relationships. Each track here oozes raw sexuality, whether the role of the singer is that of a bored housewife (“Crumbs Off the Table”) or as sexual predator (“Your Thing Ain’t No Good Without My Thing”). The titles alone are sheer class.

I suppose this review; will take me back to the days when I was totally hooked on the children's channel nickelodeon. Gosh they really don't make TV programmes like they did back in the 1990's. One of my favourite programmes which aired on Nickelodeon was called Sister, Sister. I actually grew up watching this programme, and although you may think straight way it's a girl's programme, I strongly disagree. It was more a programme for anyone aged between 6 to 19, of any race and any gender. They dealt with topics that any teenager could relate to on a level everyone could understand; it was a shame that they finally ended it. But here's a review about the show itself, the characters, and some of the storylines they dealt with. Hopefully this will bring back some old memories for some people.

Families, drama, secrets and lies, what more could you want from a television show.!! Brothers and sisters is one of my favourite drama series out at the moment. It is shown in England on Channel 4 and more recently on E4. It first came out in September 2006 and as of September 2008 they are now in their third series. The DVD of the first series came out in February of this year.
It is an American drama series featuring the Walker family of California. They are a fairly well to do family who live in Pasadena, California, just near Los Angeles. We are introduced to the family at a birthday party. The patriarch and much loved figure of William Walker dies in spectacular fashion and things are never quite the same again.
