Advantages: Well-crafted, unexplored song subjects Disadvantages: Old school fans may not approve
...of the 'gang', although he longs to break away. A 'Weekend Warrior', who despite soul-searching, cannot bear to be alone, so degrades himself time and again to fit in. Dickinson is suitably scornful in his delivery, and the song ends fittingly on that mellow riff.
12. 'Fear of the Dark'
Going against most of what came before, this is a stone-cold CLASSIC and live favourite. Over-the-top rampaging metal, with new invincible Maiden riffs again being introduced. Lyrics are pretty simplistic, and so is the song, but just admire the superb rhythm, solos and riffage.
So there it is. Bruce Dickinson didn't think the direction change was big enough, and left after this, falling out with his former colleagues for a good six years. His replacement was Wolfsbane vocalist and all-round metalhead Blaze Bayley. How would Maiden fare without their iconic...

...AidenAiden is an American Rock band from Seattle. Their music has a hint of Emo and punk. They were named after the young boy in "The Ring". Their first full length album was recorded while two of the band's members were still in high school. The members are wiL Francis on vocals, Jake Wambold on guitar, Jake Davison on drums, Angel Ibarra on guitar and Nick Wiggins on bass.
First Impressions
When i first thought of Aiden i would think of an entertaining but still a bit of a monotonous band. The music seemed a bit......childish. The cheap horror effects and themes that covered their music was fun but after a while, just a bit boring. However, i was still a fan. When i first heard about a new album, i was excited. The first song i heard was "Moment". When i first heard it i was surprised. They had changed, And in my...

Advantages: Fabulous baselines and storytellling lyrics Disadvantages: Parental Advisory
...Quite simply the best hip-hop/rap album I have ever purchased. There really aren't many weak links on this double album, with full on lyrics from the start and quality beats and base lines this is funky from start to finish.
A tale of ten years of Gang Starr, this goes through a range of tracks which gel together well, "Step Into the Arena" is a classic and "Just to get a rep" is a classic story telling track which just has to be heard.
Guru's lyrics are polished, and backed by the mighty DJ Premier the quality of tunes they pumped out over a decade at the top of their game. This really is one album you should add to your collection.
Forget the new rubbsish currently hitting the charts and go for something a little more classy....
