Having been a long time OurLady Peace fan I was quite surprised when I saw Burn Burn available for download on Amazon, having never actually even known of it's existence until I saw it (shows what a great fan I am) I placed it in my virtual trolley and purchased it without reading anything about it. In fact despite their being samples of each track on the site I decided that Canadians were good enough and I was a big enough fan to just go and get it blind.
OurLady Peace have been around for a little over a decade now, and probably scored their biggest hit with a non-album track (well originally it was non-album) called ?Whatever?, it was better known as Chris Benoit's entrance music when he was in the wwf/wwe before his death. Advantages: Sensor mat, not *too* expensive, no interference Disadvantages: you do forget to turn off mat when lifting baby out sometimes

When number 2 was expected we did consider removing the monitor from our little boys room, but I'm a bit of a panicky person and I still think a two year old needs careful watching, especially at night when he is quite a little way away from our bedroom so we bought an AngelCare for our daughter. My little girl is still in her Moses Basket but that doesn't stop me using the monitor when I am in a different room from her. It's not ideal but it will suffice until she gets into her cot. Although many bands will tell you that their second album was the most difficult to make, particularly if it?s an offering following commercial success, I often view a bands fifth or sixth album to be among their most significant. It?s not only down to the fact that I like the numbers five and six but it seems to be a turning point for many bands ? The Beatles went on to release another cracking movie soundtrack for ?Help!? with album number five whilst Placebo, many decades later, completely bombed with their sixth studio release, ?Battle For The Sun? and sadly it?s a trap OurLady Peace fell into back in the June of 2002.

Personnel: Garth Hudson (synthesizer); Charlton Heston (spoken vocals); Richard Manuel, Maud Hudson, Arlie Manuel. Recording information: 1980. Similar in wit and inventiveness to his legendary extended flights of fancy on the introduction to the Band's "Chest Fever," Garth Hudson's remarkable piece of conceptual instrumental music for keyboard and synthesizer combines dazzling traditional musical virtuosity and futuristic Pink Floyd--style effects in a musical ode to the city of Los Angeles. Composed and recorded in 1980 as an accompaniment to sculptor Tony Douquette's massive art installation "A Celebrational Environment," the piece also includes the voices of Hudson's wife, and his colleague Richard Manuel. Plus, as if a rarity like this wasn't enough to pique the interest of any music enthusiast, there's the added bonus of the NRA spokesman and erstwhile voice of God Charlton Heston, reading a Ray Bradbury poem.
