...**What Is It?** Tartan Army (Scottish World Cup Anthems) was put toghether by Scotland FC. It has 20 songs that have influenced Scottish football over the last 40 years. Written by various artists **Quality Of Music?** Not bad actully. You can tell some of it was recoreded a while back as it is a bit crackily, but the music itself is great. It is VERY patriotic and has alot of traditional scottish instruments especially the accordion which appears in almost every song! Every song also has men singing about some subject relating to Scotland or football. They are very catchy so watch out! Alot of them are ballads which are very witty and once in a while quite rude! Advantages: A Bargain introduction the on of Britains best Folk Rock Bands

...The Oyster Band are one of Britain foremost folk rock band. They combine the energy of punk with an in depth knowledge of Britain's musical folk heritage, traditional and modern instrumentation, and an ear for an excellent tune. This collection draws thirty songs from their formation in the mid eighties up to the onset of the nineties. Their music reflects their resentment to the Thatcherite culture of the time, but folk music is very often about protest. They write their own music, draw on traditional tunes and cover contempory artists songs. Thus we get Nick Lowe's "Rose of England" , Billy Bragg's "Between the Wars" and New Orders "Love Vigilantes". Advantages: two good tracks
Disadvantages: 13 bad ones

...Clubland albums for those of you who don’t know are albums usually containing the latest dance music tracks remixed by clublands dj`s. Occasionally however clubland bring out an album like this one which is made up of every day tracks remixed by clublands dj`s. I bought the first Scottish clubland album as it had a few songs on it I liked anyway but I wasn’t so sure about this one because I wouldn’t normally listen to any of the tracks on it but I thought once the brilliant clubland dj`s had gone to work on them they would be good but they were not that good. There is only a couple of tracks on this album that sound good remixed the rest are rubbish. I feel I wasted my money when I bought this album and you would be too if you were to buy it although it is much cheaper now than when I bought it, it is still not worth even £7 which is how...
