Advantages: A classic album Disadvantages: Atmospheric rather than packed with adrenalin
...done by The Edge, all you need to know is that it contains the tracks "I still haven't found what I'm looking for", "Where the streets have no name" and "With or without you", as well as "Bullet the blue sky", plus "Trip through your wires", my favourite song in the world at the time.
For those with cash to spare, U2 can extract it in lots of ways with the packaging for this reissue: standard cd featuring liner notes, lyrics and unseen photographs; a double 12" gatefold vinyl, with the original album pressed across two 180 gram audiophile discs (whoopee doop, though my original and by-now battered copy of the vinyl release needs replacing); a deluxeedition including a second cd of b-sides and demos from the original album sessions, and a limited edition box set containing two cds and a dvd featuring "The Joshua tree" tour live from...

Advantages: Great production and re-mastered sounds Disadvantages: A few dud tracks
...' another massive hit from their 1976 album is also rightly included.
Despite the success of 'Face The Music' and 'A New World Record' the peak of ELO's musical output is surely their epic 1977 double album 'Out Of The Blue'. This is possibly one of the best pop records of the 70's a perfect mixture of quirky ballads, semi disco dance tracks and complex sing-a-long tunes all accompanied by an excess of orchestral strings. Thankfully on this compilation four songs from this pop masterpiece are included their most well known hit Mr Blue Sky rightly opens up the album the thumping beat of the intro perfectly setting the tone for the up beat songs that follow. 'Sweet Talking Woman' also from 'Out Of The Blue' is the closest ELO get to a proper dance track and is influenced by the disco boom that was around at the time in included at no 4...

...Led Zeppelin use 9 years of pure inspirational genius to bring us their epic best of album to celebrate their huge come back gig. From 1969 until 1978 they were one of the major influences of the rock scene, and practically invented what has now become known as heavy metal, whilst also branching out into blues and folk rock.
They managed to come up with strokes of genius such as 'Immigrant Song' and 'Whole Lotta Love', along with the most requested and played song on radio, the epic 'Stairway to Heaven'. Their music has inspired countless artists over the past forty years, and received worldwide popularity and praise. The surviving members are also reuniting in a one-off performance at the O2 Arena on 26th November. Whilst their have been previous greatest hits albums, Mothership is the first time that all their most celebrated songs...
