...One More Car, One More Rider by Eric Clapton
When this album came out I hadn't made my annual pilgrimage to see Mr Clapton for a few years as he seemed to be taking a break. So I was having withdrawal symptoms of live music at its best and that's what you get from this artist his best at every performance. So it was with great relief that I received this CD for a present for Christmas 2003. . Although in 2004 I saw him at the M.E.N. in Manchester.
When putting the CDs on I would make sure you're not interrupted as this is a live CD.
Tracks on the first CD Open with a sit down set.
1. Key To The Highway - written by William Broonzy and Charles Seegar - This song kicks the
album off and it is one of the best and most covered blues. Most famously by Brownie McGhee

Delaney and Bonnie have awesome strong voices which are really powerful and throughout the whole album, you will not be disappointed by the sheer power and brilliance of their voices. (I'm sure most people know what they sound like anyway, but this is my first Delaney & Bonnie experience!)

Advantages: Awesome CD with some of Johnson's best songs Disadvantages: Nothing that stands out.
...These songs have grown on me. Everytime I hear them I notice a subtle nuance or expression in Eric's music that truly showcases his excellence in guitar. Although his CD's are long time in coming, they are certainly worth the wait. From my personal favourite SRV with it's blistering hooks, through to the Jazzy Wes Montgomery style Manhatten, Eric's talent is truly second to none. It's even great to see a remix of an old tune called Camel's Night Out, one which has greatly developed from the original.
If you're looking for a guitarist CD that is top of the world class, there is no other option - This Texan Guitarist is number 1 on my list, and will be for ever....
