Advantages: No bad tracks Disadvantages: Not enough tracks
...*~* I have quite varied tastes in music, and this album by the Sugababes sits nicely in my CD collection next to my Rage Agaisnt the Machine album.
*~* I love this album. Its one of those cds you can listen to all the way through without having to skip any boogur tracks. It's chilled out, yet each song is distinctive, making it easy and pleasurable to listen to.
*~* I have to admit, i was at first skeptical of the sugababes. I was one of the first to giggle when i heard their first song 'Overload'. But, when their second song 'New year' came out, I had virtually changed my mind. Im still not too fond of Overload, but it fits in with the album, with more of the songs leaning towards an All Saints style of music.
*~* The highlights of this cd are 'New Year', which is a gorgeous, heartfelt song, 'Soul sound', the new single...

Advantages: all the aspects of a hit song: an addictive melody you won't be able to shake Disadvantages: no major flaws
...This, the sugababes 3rd single, follows the pattern of "overload" and "new year" to once again produce one of the catchiest, funkiest and sassiest singles you are likely to hear this year. So why, may i ask, did it only reach the dizzy heights of number 13 in the charts? a mix of true-to-life lyrics, strong harmonies and a super-catchy chorus should have guaranteed its place in the top 10, yet it fell short. With more attitude and arguably more talent than the all saints, these teen girls are their natural perfect replacements now they have parted ways. All they need is a "never ever" type explosion and they will be on their way to superstardom. With the constant media cyniscm over pop music these days, the sugababes re-affirm what good pop music should be like. Watch this space for an album review coming soon......

...WHEN I FIRST HEARD OF THE SUGABABES BEING AS YOUNG AS THEY ARE I THOUGHT GREAT THEY WILL BE ANOTHER BRITNEY SPEARS CLONE OR ANOTHER CHEESY POP GROUP BUT HOW WRONG I WAS! THIS ALBUM IS FANTASTIC. THE SOUNDS FROM THE GALS ARE MELLOW CHILLED RELAXED AND CALMING IF I HAD TO COMPARE THEIR MUSIC TO OTHERS I WOULD SAY THEY WERE AN ORIGNAL VERSION OF THE ALL SAINTS BUT MUCH YOUGER AND MUCH FRESHER. THEIR FIRST SINGLE OVERLOAD REALLY DID BLOW ME AWAY HOW SUCH YOUNG GALS COULD PRODUCE SUCH GOOD MUSIC IS BEYOND ME BUT THEY HAVE MANAGED IT AND THEY HAVE SUPRISINGLY MANAGED IT WITHOUT BEING CHEESY OR TOO MANUFACTURED AND I THINK THEY ARE GREAT ROLE MODELS AS THEY SEEM SO SOPHISTICATED AND DOWN TO EARTH. THEIR OTHER SINGLES NEW YEAR AND RUN FOR COVER ARE ALSO GREAT TRACKS AND ARE ALL GOOD EXAMPLES OF WHAT THIS ALBUM IS ALL ABOUT....
