girlfriend was hot like any one of the members of this revolving collective? Dissing the Pussycat Dolls is like denying you want a peek at the Victoria's Secret runway show--a foolhardy stance nobody's going to believe anyway. Never mind, for a moment, the semi-lewd pleasures of the disc's visuals (midriffs galore!): the pop on parade by this gang of writhers and eyelash-batters isn't bad. Nicole Scherzinger, a former member of the failed prefab teen pop act Eden's Crush, brings it with determination and carefully distributed shots of sweetness. More important, she gets high-wattage help. Busta Rhymes, Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am, and Timbaland all step in to dress up the Dolls' sound, and the songwriters' and producers behindPCDclearly know how to sexify a disc without sinking it into the gutter. What's best about the Dolls' debut, though, is its shamelessness. This is manufactured friskiness that doesn't take itself seriously; these girls don't want a Grammy, they only want to pounce. --Tammy La Gorce

This was the first song released off the album. It's incredibly catchy and sexy. This is the song that introduced us to the Pussy Cat Dolls. This is a 'feel ... ...I can't help not dancing when I hear this song.
* Beep *
When I first heard this song , I didn't like it at all , but after I'd heard it a few times , I ended up liking it a bit more. It's not my favourite song , in fact the 'beeps' in it get quite annoying at the time! Although I like the verses.
* Wait A Minute *
This an upbeat track with great vocals. It's quite catchy.

The Pussy Cat Dolls are an American all girl group. As a music group they have been present since 2003. There are currently five members in the band (there were six, however one left last year) ; Nicole , Ashley , Jessica ,Melody and Kimberly.

* Don't cha * This was the first song released off the album. It's incredibly catchy and sexy. This is the song that introduced us to the Pussy Cat Dolls. This is a 'feel good' song which gives you confidence when listening to it. I can't help not dancing when I hear this song.
* Beep * When I first heard this song , I didn't like it at all , but after I'd heard it a few times , I ended up liking it a bit more. It's not my favourite song , in fact the 'beeps' in it get quite annoying at the time! Although I like the verses.
* Wait A Minute * This an upbeat track with great vocals. It's quite catchy.
* Stick wit * This is a nice relaxing ballad. It's the only 'chilled out' song on the album. Nicola's vocals are great on this track.
* Buttons * This is my favourite Pussy Cat Dolls song. It's really catchy and sexy. I love the attitude in this song. It's a song that gives you confidence when you listen to it. It has quite a dramatic feel to it. The best song on the album!
* I don't Need Man * A great song to listen to if you have just been dumped! This song is full of 'girl power' , it also gives confidence to single girls! Another song , full of attitude!
* Hot Stuff * This song has a really strong beat. Their voices sound different on this track. Not too keen on this song , it's a bit too repetitive. In some parts their vocals are a bit 'shouty'. I don't really like listening to this song ,but I think if it were performed live, then I'd like it a lot more.
* How Many Times , How Many Lies * I like the introduction to this song, it's very different to the beginning of their other songs. This song is a cover of Girlicious' song , and I must say that I prefer the 'dolls version a lot more. A good song! * Bite The Dust * This is a really 'fighter' song. The girls have serious girl power in this attitude. I love the chorus ; it's so funky and catchy. It was nice to hear another member of the band have a 'sing' in this song!
* Right Now * I really don't like this song. It has a very jazzy feel yet I don't think it's strong enough.It's very different to their usual songs.
* Tainted Love * I love the beginning of this song. It is the cover of Gloria Jones' song. This has a really funky beat. It's one of my favourite songs on the album!
* My Overall Opinion * I think that this is a good album! The songs I love the most are the ones which they released as singles (Don't Cha , Buttonz , I Don't Need A Man , Stickwitu ,etc) , the rest of the tracks on the album are good but I feel they don't stand out as much as the songs they released as singles.
Nicole's voice is fantastic throughout although beings as there are five members in the band, it would be nice if each member had a 'sing' on every song rather than Nicole taking the lead vocals in every song. I know from the backing vocals that the girls do that they have good voices and therefore I know that would be capable of having a go properly on the songs.
I love how this song is full of attitude and bursting with girl power. This album gives me so much confidence when listening to it. I like how they have positive messages in some of their songs such as 'I don't need a man' to succeed in life. Their songs are full of energy and fun!
The Pussycat Dolls are definitely in a league of their own. Their singing is fantastic , their dancing is great and their attitude is brilliant. They are a really unique group with a unique sound. It's nice that they're different and not like everyone else. I think that is why they are such a huge success!
Advantages: The cd is really useful for scraping the runny poo at the bottom of my cat litter tray out. Disadvantages: Dont get me started
PCD is the debut album by American girl group the Pussycat Dolls, released by A&M Records on September 13 2005 in the United States. The album ended 2006 as the twenty-eighth best-selling album in the United Kingdom, with sales of 536,340 copies, in 2006 and 574,000 in 2005, meaning it sold over 1.1 million in the UK. A series of facts that continue to totally and utterly perplex me! When I first heard the chart topper 'Dont Cha' (featuring Busta ... ...ya girlfriend was a ho like me'. I wasn't much more impressed when my 8-year-old niece corrected me. The first thing that came into my head when she told me what they were called, was an image of my cat licking its own a*se. Perhaps their next song could have something to do with oral thrush caught from bringing your tongue into contact with your own anus? I have unfortunately heard the whole album (inflicted upon me by aforementioned niece) and ...

Advantages: Lots of great songs! Disadvantages: Quite a few covers
This is one of my favourite albums, I love almost every song. The PussycatDolls are an American girl group mostly known for their dance routines and their pop and R'n'B songs.
1) Don't Cha - This was the girls first single which was hugely popular, it is instantly recognisable from the lyrics 'Doncha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?' I didn't like this song as first, but it soon grew on me.
2) Beep - I prefer this song to Don't Cha. This song features Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas. The beat of the song is irritatingly catchy! This song was also a single.
3) Wait A Minute - This is one of my least faves on the album. It has recently been released as a single.
4) Stickwitu - This is definitely one of my favourites on the album. This is a ballad and was the second single from the album. This song shows how ...
Advantages: Some nice slow songs & some very catchy tunes Disadvantages: some bad covers & who likes material that isnt original ?
Thornton.
They are all young girls dressed to kill all appear to have the skinniest waists ever I would say the lead has about 8/10 talent as she has a great voice and the backing girls about 6/10 they do sound on CD but live I am not so impressed but they are young and have done really well to get where they are. The girls are accompanied by a lot of famous rappers on their songs, which helps a lot and makes the songs more appealing to a wider range of people.
They are managed by Jeff Haddad from JH management and the CD was produced by Ron Fair, Jimmy Iovine and Robin Antin.
THE ALBUM
The album is called PCD and stands for the obvious Pussycatdolls! It was released on the 12th September 2005 which I think is quite early seen as though they have only just released one song granted this is a very good song but not sure if I would part ...
With roots in the Los Angeles burlesque scene, the Pussycat Dolls are a blatantly sensual dance-pop group, as revealed on their debut, PCD. Led by vocalist Nicole Scherzinger, the Dolls excel at steamy club workouts, most notably the slinky, strip-joint-ready "Don't Cha," which features rapper Busta Rhymes, and an electronica-tinged take on the 1980s Soft Cell hit "Tainted Love."
