Album Notes: For those for whom death metal comes off as harmless as a kitten, there's Agoraphobic Nosebleed, the one-man studio project of Pig Destroyer's Scott Hull. Songs that rarely crack the minute mark condense an album's worth of cumulative aggression into mere seconds, making for some of the most violent, brutal grindcore available. PCP TORNADO is a double-disc release, the first disc being nine originals that--combined-- barely crack the four-minute mark, and the second, a remix disc featuring contributions by breakcore artists Dev/Null & Xanopticon and Jansky Noise, as well as experimental/noise music heavyweights like Merzbow, Khanate's James Plotkin, and Jesu's Justin Broadrick.
...The Holy bible by the manic street preachers ( also known as the manics ) is a must buy album with tracks such as Faster , P.C.P. Also my favourite track on the album If white america told the truth it’s whole world would fall apart. This is as good as the manic street preachers have ever got and ever will be. This is honestly one of the most dark depressing albums in the history of rock. I would rate this album as ten out of ten. Richey Edwards lyrics are at their best and this album acts as a a great reminder of his life....

Advantages: Powerful and original Disadvantages: Not enough good melodies
...I think The Holy Bible is the best album the Manics have ever produced. Its probably the least well known album, and it certainly takes some getting used to. The lyrics are about as harsh and gritty as you can imagine, with songs about anorexia, the holocaust, abortion, capital punishment etc. Its not easy listening but the lyrics (written at the height of Richie's illness) are really powerful, and could equally be spoken as poetry. Musically, the album could be better, although a few tracks stand out as classics: Faster, She is Suffering, This is Yesterday and PCP. Its got much more of a punk feel to it than Gold Against the Soul, and, it seems, is more representative of some of Richie's pre-occupations during his final months as a legally recognised person!
Its a great album but dont expect too many great melodies, and be prepared...

Advantages: The finest rock/punk/political album of the nineties Disadvantages: Last great album the Manics would make
...The Holy Bible, marred by the disappearance of Richey Edwards, is to date, the best work in my opinon that the Manics have ever released. Having matured so much by the release of Gold Against the Soul, their sound on this record is very punk orientated which lends itself perfectly to the political lyrics of tracks such as 'Ifwhiteamericatoldthetruthforonedayit'sworldwouldfallapart' and the excellent 'P.C.P.'. Whilst 'Faster' and 'Archives of Pain' are standout tracks, everytrack on the album is amazingly original whilst not deviating from the punk/rock foundation upon which it is built. Aside from political undercurrents tracks such as '4st 7lb' and 'She Is Suffering' offers some of the most intense lyrics I have heard. Its a fantastically thought provoking album released by a very intelligent band. There's not a track on the album...
