Advantages: An overview of the artist's work. Disadvantages: Don't expect to see the famous Guernica, it's in Madrid!
...sentimental even, but he was only a young man when he painted this. (See an example in picture 2)
So far, so good, but perhaps a little predictable. Until you come to what has to be the real high spot of this museum. In 1957, Picasso donated a series of paintings, 58 in total, inspired by the famous Velázquez painting of the same name (picture 3). A great admirer of Velázquez, Picasso set about interpreting Las Meninas in his own unique manner. The series comprises an extraordinary monochrome painting of the whole scene (picture 4), as well as smaller paintings of parts of the original painting (picture 5). Before you enter the room where these paintings are, you will have the opportunity to watch a short audio-visual presentation comparing Picasso's work with the original. This is done beautifully and I recommend you spend a little time...

Advantages: So many fantastic songs Disadvantages: Could use more liner notes.
...Whenever I am in a really lousy mood or have just suffered a bad day I put Sam Cooke: The Man and HisMusic into my CD player and let this gifted and truly remarkable singer/songwriter have his melodic way with me.
Sam Cooke was trully one of the leading and groundbreaking artists in the music industry. It is hismusic that leaves the most impression, however, truly proving that music, its construction from being written to being sung, is one of the most divine artforms on this sad little planet. Sam Cooke was nothing less than a genius. Not only did he create the difinitive versions of any song he wrote but also turned his gift to the works of others, making them his own.
On this wonderful CD we are given some of Cooke's finest moments. There is not one bad song on the album and I can hum every single tune. I am sad when each...

Advantages: Roomy, comfortable, reliable Disadvantages: not much!
...Just reluctantly sold our Picasso, as we needed occassional 7 seats, this being the only drawback with this car.
Very comfortable, pretty quiet, reliable and reasonably economical. We had the 1800 (actually 1750, but who's complaining). It could return over 40 mpg on a run. Normal use, it would drop to about 35. performance for a car this size is not bad. 0-60 about 11 seconds, top speed about 120.
There is plenty of room in the car for 5 adults, and with an enormous boot it is a good shopper or tourer. The door pockets have holders for a 1/2 litre drinks bottle, there is a good sized glove box, drivers seat has a large drawer underneath (the battery lives under the passenger seat. There are two reasonable under floor cubbies in the rear footwells.
Pretty quiet, even at speed, but could sound a bit "busy" under hard acceleration...
