Advantages: Accessible staging, good balance in programming, great education programmes Disadvantages: Singing is not always consistently amazing
As an aspiring opera singer (currently working in admin - oh, the glamour! - but hoping to go back to college in the near future), I try to attend as much live opera as I can. Living in London is great for this - we are spoilt with 2 international level opera houses, as well as numerous touring companies and high standard amateur productions. EnglishNationalOpera is generally seen as the Royal Opera House's more accessible sibling - slightly cooler, slightly more modern. All productions are staged in English and the singing is generally of a very high standard.
EnglishNationalOpera's home is the Coliseum on St Martin's Lane, just off Trafalgar Square, so easily accessible from Charing Cross Station (Mainline or underground) or bus routes 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 23, 24, 29, 53, 77a, 88, 91, 139, 159, 176, or if you're travelling by ...
Murdoch a subscription fee! Not to mention the ability to play all my MP3s in the stereo in the lounge, my own never-ending jukebox that doesn't need the CD changing - ever.

The Overture II scores well here, being both "piano black" gloss AND silver (on the front panel). Being approximately the same size as a standard amplifier, it also maintains reasonable proportions and doesn't look too out of place.
Secondly, it's got to be quiet. At least quiet enough that you can't hear it when the TV ...
Advantages: Cheaper than chips, easy to use and works well Disadvantages: Not that reliable, not very attractive
number of jug blenders, however there was a Tesco own brand for about £20, a Tesco value model for £9.78ish and then I saw the Pacific PB7001 for £9.28, I noticed on the price sign this item was 'discontinued'. At such a bargain price I would resist, when I went to Asda later the same week this same blender was selling off for £7.00 but what they hey. I went to Tesco at the weekend and this item is now selling off for £7.97.
When I got the blender home I quickly unpacked it, there is nothing particularly interesting in the box. The blender is composed of a large jug with a capacity of nearly 2 litres, a lid with a feeding hole, a washable hole cover, a base unit with wired lead and fused plug and a special key which allows you to remove the blades. There is nothing to put together with this appliance simply fit the jug to the base unit ...
