Advantages: Quick and effective in dealing with migraine and tension headaches. Disadvantages: Make you incredibly drowsy. Codeine based medication so can become habit forming.
Once a month I find myself suffering from a rather nasty migraine headache. Sometimes I'm lucky, and it only lasts for 24 hours. Other times it can be an unwelcome invader of my head for up to 72 hours. I used to be able to keep the pain in abeyance with Migraleve Complete, but in the last six months or so, they haven't been as effective for me as they used to be. Maybe my body has become slightly immune to the benefits of this medication, but it just doesn't have the same effect on lessening my pain anymore.
I therefore popped into my local Lloyds pharmacy and had a word with the pharmacist about any alternative over the counter medications he could recommend. I actually asked him for the strongest over the counter migraine tablets that he could sell me. He came back with a navy blue box branded "Syndol". I must say that I had ...

What's nice is that they do actually stay where you put them, meaning you can apply these right to the source of your pain and know that ...
Advantages: Full of emotion and feeling, plenty of detail... Disadvantages: Hard to put down, can draw tears to the eyes

I didn't really want to pay that, so I decided to pick up a copy and have a quick 'flick'. It was then that I noticed it had been fully updated, with a few pages based on Treats (more about this later). Well, that was it for me! I was pushing myself ...
