Here we go again folks. This December 2006 release was supposed to be a brand new set of recordings from the usually fine London outfit, Alien Sex Fiend. Unfortunatly, recent efforts from this great band have been either sub-standard live bootleg style recordings or re-mixed old songs. This is the latter of the two, and there are no surprises.
It's a shame that this CD marks the tenth anniversary of their own record label, "13th Moon Records". Personally, I think that they should have made more of an effort, and thought up something new.

Truly this is one C/D you should only buy if you are a real fan of Alien Sex Fiend and if you also collect their music as I tend to do. This C/D is by far not really worth purchasing as a first or second choice from the Alien Sex Fiend catalog. I personally would suggest any of the early on titles from the Anagram catalog and I would even further suggest that it is with the original band line up with ........ Mrs Fiend Johnny Haha Yaxi Highrizer Nik Fiend
To me I would say that you would be satisfied with anything by the original group and not the other members who came after both Yaxi and Johnny both left the band to pursue other careers. I did not purchase my copy of this C/D from them personally as I had got my copy cheaper than what they were selling it for through their online store.
If you are a fan of how many different types of ways you can badly edit your own music then this is for you, however if you are like me and collect it personally as a fan of them and want to add it to your collection, then by all means please feel free to do so. This review is being done by pulling any punches or taking any sides or favorites of either the Band or the media reviewers.
All the songs on this C/D have previously been released before on different CDs and Alien Sex Fiend's poor attempt at releasing this as something new is absolutely both shocking and disgusting. Although there are dubs and demos and live versions of certain songs here within on this disc is just plane lazy for a band who should be celebrating a 25th Anniversary. I am sure that not even Ozzy Osbourne would stoop this low just to get some much needed cash. If you are in it for the cash and not for your fans, try doing something else like release new songs, new t-shirts, posters, books DVDs etc, etc.
I personally would not spend my hard earned money on this C/D. Alien Sex Fiend have played 3 shows so far this year to celebrate their 25th Anniversary and the way things are going and from what I was informed by someone in the band, "If you miss out seeing us play live this year, that's that".
