I'm sure many of you out there remember the release of the film Brassed Off in 1996, which reminded many people of the strife of a miner, and sparked in the UK a new interest in brass bands. For those who never saw Brassed Off (with the lovely Ewan McGregor :o) ), it follows the life of the Grimethorpe Colliery Band, made up of members of the Grimethorpe Colliery (that's miners to you and me!). Watch the band (featuring McGregor, Pete Postlethwaite, Tara Fitzgerald) as they try and work their way to the National Brass Band Finals- do they make it?

Advantages: graphics, realism, price endless fun Disadvantages: shortness of actual game
call of duty modern warfare 2 released almost a month ago is in one word amazing, i have done this for real and the realism in the game is fantastic ok the jumping cliffs and buildings and alot of parts dont happen in the real world but it is a game. the graphics on HD are second to none. i was quite disapointed that the game was over and copmpleted so quickly, but as a friend pointed out it was really made for xbox live which is endless really with loads of maps and different weapons. also with all the supermarkets stocking it you can find it somewhere for under £30 ! although i bet there will already be pre owned copys in game or gamestation. please feel free to ask questions thanks ...
Advantages: Fantastic Story, Good Multiplayer Disadvantages: Tries too hard to make it better than the original, needs updates to fix problems in Multiplayer
Possibly the most anticipated game of all time came to our doorsteps a month ago and for the first few weeks a truly believed it could do no wrong.
My how times have changed.
I got the game at the midnight launch with a few friends and got home deperate to play it for an hour before i had to go to sleep as i had work in the morning, so i decided to play the story mode.
Story
One word to describe to story: EPIC!!!
One of the niggles i had with the first game was that the story peaked in several places but the other 90% of the game was only good. That would be brilliant if it was any other game but this is Modern Warfare.
I love games that build up properly and tease you with better and better levels and then peak with the ending. But too many games give the high too early and make the final level/boss too easy.
