Words cannot express how much I loathe and detest Coldplay and all they stand for. Their music is dreary, trite and unimaginative. It rehashes a musical style that was never very good in the first place. I have a special term for this kind of music. Middle class parent rock – because that is what is it. It is so bland, so inoffensive that your parents are bound to love it. I am sure even your grandparents would like it. They will put it right up there with there Simon and Garfunkell albums. Avoid Coldplay like a nasty rash, although that will probably be very hard to do with all the airplay they are getting.
