Developed by Ubisoft and released in late 2007, Assassin?s Creed was everywhere. Hype after hype and magazine cover after trailer was unleashed like it was a craze spreading across the world. Assassin fever was definitely in the air. The only problem I find however is that games like this manage to rouge up enough media attention and get sales into the millions but generally lack something special.

Assassin's Creed is an ok game. It has amazing graphics, and has a pretty long storyline. The storyline wasn't all that great though. One thing I really hate about Assassin's Creed is the investigations you have to do right before you assassinate your target. There are the same investigations you do over and over, which there are only four of - interrogation, eavesdropping, pickpocketing and speaking with an informant. Another bad thing about Assassins Creed is the voice acting. Every character will speak with an accent appropriate to that era, but Altair speaks with an American accent... totally sticking out. I believe that any game without multiplayer options will get old and boring after the first time you play it. I do not suggest you buy this game, mainly because it get's boring after you beat it once. ...

I've always had a bit of an obsession with assassins, but maybe I just have problems. Anyway, when I found this game, I couldn't stop myself from buying it, and I was definately not dissapointed.
The game has an interesting storyline, I don't want to give away too many spoilers but it has a sci-fi aspect where you are a character in the future looking back into the memories of one of your ancestors, who happens to be an assassin. The future and past storylines run parallel to each other and you learn how they are connected as the game progresses. The only bad thing I will say about the storyline is that it, rather unusually for games, ended in a cliff hanger, so don't buy this unless you are prepared to buy the rather more expensive sequel.
