Party Hats - Will Bernard

Advantages: eclectic
Disadvantages: bit fashionable

...I loved Hey Girl Hey Boy, I thought it was a blinding single, and it most definitely got the party rocking. But I feared that the album itself would be a let down. You know the old story, huge single, shite album. But when Out of Control was released I knew that they had done it again. Bernard Sumner (New Order) and Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream) on the same song, out and out genius. And as for the music, pounding beats and winding bass, the usual screeching sound effects. All in all a great 'Brothers track, but by no means the outstanding track on the album. That credit goes to Sunshine Underground, which they have produced with James Asher, who brings into the mix his experience of Eastern influence and Asian sounds. Now I have never heard any men start crying about any of the lyrics in any songs that could be offensive to men no we just grin and bear it ,Bernard mannig makes a career out of slagging off women ,Asians ,Chinese ,Africans ,gays and so on but he doesn’t get halve the criticism that slim shady got ,women get your act together you’ve all got a chip on your shoulder over the way men treated you since the dawn of time?, Get over it we never oppressed you it was the way the most women wanted to live if you dont like eminem DONT LISTEN TO HIM THEN, and stop recruiting sheep to hate him too he has to make a living as well you know, in my opinion he is one of the only men that says what he wants to say and gets away with it I take my hat off to him. Advantages: Some great tracks
Disadvantages: A couple of boring ones

...The Full Monty is a wonderful film & the soundtrack is great too. Although some of the music isn't as great as others, there are some excellent ones on here. Who could forget Hot Choclate's Love Thing ? Not to mention Tom Jones' brilliant You Can Leave Your Hat On, M People's Moving On Up, Donna Summer's Hot Stuff & many others. Some of the instrumental tracks are best listened to asleep, but out of the thirteen tracks on it, there are about ten great tracks & that makes it good value. Evocative of a truly brilliant movie. Plus if you get bored at parties, there is The Stripper on here too ! ... Read review
