Past Perfect Future Tense - Magne F

Advantages: Core gameplay is still on fire; Past/Future self encounters are excellent; lots of modes.
Disadvantages: Story a little brief; some dips in frame rate; no custom soundtrack option.

...Portal to the past, present and future. In the story you meet up with many familiar faces and some new faces. -(The Controls)- Future Perfect controls like your ordinary First Person Shooter. You move around with the left analog stick and aim with the right analog stick. You throw grenades with the Left trigger and melee attack with the B button. Crouching is done by pressing down the left analog stick. If you're not lazy then you can press the X button to manually reload. The D-Pad is used and change the weapon, toggle your weapon sub-type and to change grenades. Overall, the controls are responsive and pretty simple as well. -(The Gameplay)- The storymode in Future Perfect is the best of the series, as this time around there's actually a plot to the whole thing. Advantages: Anti-Ageing, Fights Anti-Oxidants, Non Sticky,Sinks in Really Quickly, Leaves Skin Feeling Soft

Advantages: Great multiplayer, Tons of stuff to unlock, a 'proper' Stroy Mode
Disadvantages: None, it's the best Multi Player FPS available.

...to use, and all buttons are within easy reach. I can't fault the control system at all. The biggest 'overhaul' to the series is the single player mode though. Before Future Perfect, the Timesplitters Series couldn't boast a Story mode with a 'real' plotline, but it's all change with Future Perfect. Being the final installment in the series, it is up to Sgt. Cortez to destroy the Timesplitters once and for all. Now you actually feel like you have a purpose as to why you are going to each location at different times in the future and past, and not just travelling from A to B, and collecting the Time Crystal at the end of each level. You now have a reason to go to a certain point in time, instead of just being thrown into a time period. And the end of level bosses are a vast improvement also. Another thing added is vehicles.
