Advantages: Has Manics B-Sides on, which are great Disadvantages: Misses out on some of their best B-Sides
...Lipstick Traces is something that all fans of the Manic Street Preachers must own, as this band has always continued to produce excellent B-Side tracks, compared with most other bands.
Manics fans are a varied type, yet there would be something on there which would definitely appeal to everyone, though the cover wouldn't appeal to everyone's tastes. Even if you are the rare few who owns all their singles, there are a few tracks like "4 Ever Delayed" and "Judge Yrself" and several live (and good quality) tracks which would make it more interesting to purchase. I, personally, am glad that I did.
I have a feeling that Manics fans that prefer generally everything from Everything Must Go onwards would probably be most disappointed with this album, as half of the tracks are from their earlier stuff.

Advantages: A different and new style of music Disadvantages: Not all tracks suitable for everyone's likes
...The third of Patrick Wolf's albums, The Magic Position is an enchanting and eclectic mixture of musical tracks with a track to suit virtually anybody's taste.

The title song 'The Magic Position' is perhaps the most catchy of them all and is the most "pop-like" of all the songs - bound to be enjoyed by anyone and everyone.
Other favourite songs of mine include Bluebells, an upbeat yet sultry song with powerful lyrics, Overture- an entertaining mix of modern electric sounds with a classical influence- and Accident and Emergency - another pop/electronic classic.
I am new to Patrick Wolf's music and was first drawn to it after hearing...
