P.O.D come from the States, they are a four piece group featuring band members of different music tastes. This shows up in the music, the music will go from a nice soul full track like Eternal (instrumental) along with the slightly stronger Find My Way, this song deals with trying to find yourself finding where you are. I would of preferred a more gentler backing music as it seems to over power the sensitivity of the lyrics. Astma is another note worthy song, the lyrics on this track are very discriptive and thought provoking. There is a range of musical influences in this cd, there is elements of reggae, rock, punk, intrumental, hardcore, rap. It is a cd for a range of taste but some songs have to be listened to for a few times to get used to it. The opening track has a hard hitter intro possibly designed to wake people up, but then dies down into heavy metal. This heavy intro followed by heavy metal is common to nearly all songs. Some like, Will you, maintains a heavy rock scene. Will You is about remember the good times and the love that was once shared. A few of the songs deal with Love on this track, by far the best is Waiting On Today. It is about sticking through with something and not running away from it. Its about facing it and moving on. The booklet inside it is rahter interesting, display all the lyrics which is nice to know, a good layout, has some good detailed graphics. Very tribal designs. The Disc also features 2 bonus songs. One is from the Matrix Soundtrack, a impressive song to listen to. the lyrics are interesting. The second bonus track is from The Phatheads (australia) the song is quirky, more rap than the rest of the disc but a nice ending. The song is heavily based upon P.O.D, and their music and influences. I think that some of the songs could be smothed off and made to suit the mood of the lyrics. Sometimes the music is to strong for the lyrics which does spoil some of the tracks.
