...I have not heard much of nate's music but what i have heard i like. my favourite song is oh no! featuring mos def and pharoahe monch. It has wicked lyrics with a light beat and all my favourite rappers working together in this one song. I looked the other day in HMV for nate dogg's album but i couldn't see it so instead i bought a phife dawg CD. Advantages: Lyrically superb, good production, great album
Disadvantages: One poor track

...Now first of all this is my first review, so if it isn't perfect don't hold a grudge. I am a huge Ice Cube fan as you should be able to tell by the user name, however this review is not biased in any way and is my honest opinion on the album. First of all, this album is fire. Cube explodes on every track, there is no lack of emotion when he spits each verse. If you have ever thought of buying an Ice Cube cd or any rap cd i wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to you. This is gangsta rap at it's finest. It may not have the political and social commentary of Cube's first albums ("Amerikkka's Most Wanted", "The Predator", etc) but has just the same intensity and better production than previous albums. Advantages: A great listen, with a saucy edge

...of singing and slow rap which accompanies the feel of the song very effectively. A definite foot tapper that will have u singing "wherever there are cheese there are rats" until someone eventually kills you. GLOW has a slow rhythm and steady beat which provides a great easy listening song with a bit of an edge. SUGAR HONEY ICED TEA. Another easy listening song with a definite calming effect which left me feeling relaxed and soothed. ATTENTION is a song with a definite more R and B feel to it. It presents a main rhythm which is repeated throughout the song and then a change of style which reverts back to the original. Not my favourite song on the album as i found it a little bit too repetitive and consequently boring. ROLLING THROUGH THE HOOD. The title reflects the song.
