I have been advised to go see the film but have also been warned off it, although it's supposed to be this massive BIG HIT BLOCKBUSTER of the year I've heard its supposed to be quite cheesy and thats why I'm advising you to listen to the soundtrack instead of watching the film!
(Many people I know have only gone to see the film because of the gorge lads in it!) HOW PATHETIC YOU THINK- WE ALL DO IT SOMETIMES!
The song is called 'There you'll be' and is sung by 'Faith Hill' and although it may not beat 'Shaggy' and 'Moulin Rouge' in the charts I'm pretty sure it could hit the top 10! The song is starting to proove very popular and is lovely to listen to.
Faith Hill has only released one CD single in Europe which was released earlier on this year, she is better of known for her country music talents in which she has sung many many songs.
Many have said that 'Pearl
Harbor' was supposed to be the next 'Titanic'. They have all the simalarities, the 3hr running time, the ships sinking, the huge amounts of agonising deaths as well as the terror and fear. They've also had the time and money spent on making them and the truely based themes to the stories and plots. Yet 'Pearl Harbor' which was expected to be the 2001 Blockbuster of the year has definitely not lived up to its hopeful expectations and is no where near as sucessful as Titanic. Basically 'Pear Harbor' has truly been a big flop!
My point to all this is that Titanic wouldn't have been COMPLETE without the number 1 hit from 'Celine Dion'.- 'My Heart Will Go On.' would it!? So obviously there has to be a soundrack to 'Pearl Harbor' too though will it be as good?
I've listened to the song and its brilliant, I know a little while ago earlier on this year the artist 'Faith Hill' sang a song called 'I Love The Way You Love Me' which I also liked a lot but flopped in the charts big time, but I really think this song will be sucessful. It will highlight the film and bring tears to your eyes.
The song itself is slow, nice and calm which represents the film in a lovely way, just like 'My Heart Will Go On' it brings up all the emotions from deep down inside and while the song plays you think of the war and what happened and all the lives lost etc. Sometimes you find yourself getting really upset like I did both to Celine Dions song and Faith Hills.
Faith Hill has infact been involved in many movie soundtacks including, 'Practical Magic' 'The Best Of Country, Sing The Best Of Disney' and 'The Grinch' and many many more but I doubt any of these were ever as sucessful as this one may be.
The lyrics are pretty straight forward and easy to learn:

I like faith hill as well, but what are the other songs on the soundtrack like? Thought about buying this, and yeah the films good even very good (but not the next Titanic!)

I can't believe only one person read this excellent op before me. I only rated it as helpful as I expected to hear about the other songs on the album too (were there any? - if not please let me know and I will happily give this a VH).
