Pearl Necklace - Colour Of Fire

I first heard 'colour of fire' in march of 2004 supporting Placebo in my home city of Manchester. From the word go they took the venue by storm, picking up many new fans along the way. Ever since the gig, I have followed the band and their fortunes. It wasn't long before the band announced the release date of their much anticipated first album.

The first track 'Robot Rock' kicks in and immediately shows you what this band are about. ...
...This standard never slips throughout the whole album, from the first track to the last. Standout tracks for me are; the quite simply brilliant 'The Exile' and the equally fantastic 'Pearl Necklace...'. It is hard though to pick out a favourite as the whole album is easy to listen to and very very quick to pick up.

This standard never slips throughout the whole album, from the first track to the last. Standout tracks for me are; the quite simply brilliant 'The Exile' and the equally fantastic 'Pearl Necklace...'. It is hard though to pick out a favourite as the whole album is easy to listen to and very very quick to pick up.

The whole band does its part to make this album what it is, however i think special homage is owed to guitarist and vocalist Owen for giving this album its unique sound with his majestic vocals. Well Done lads, totally awesome.
