Advantages: truly wonderful album style, lyrics, and flow Disadvantages: apart from a couple of the tracks nothing
...MissyElliott has always demanded, and received respect, from the moment she released her first tune. Fat female with a dress sense as big as her personality she took on the hip hop world and demanded it accepted her.
This album reminds me that even though she's been through it all 'the entourage tales, funny clothing lines' she might not be the best at everything but the one thing you can't take away from her is that when it comes down to laying down the lyrics and beats she still reigns supreme. tracks like pass that dutch, get ur freak on are tracks you can't get bored of, her imagination is out of this world a truly gifted woman...

Advantages: Pass That Dutch, Don't Be Cruel Disadvantages: Some poor lyrics and lyric-sampling, too many guests
...Just a year after her last album "Under Construction", Missy Eliott returns with her latest offering, "This Is Not A Test!". Out of this World Review ofDa Real World [ECD] [PA] - Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliottby
JOSI78
Advantages: Disadvantages:
...This album is Missy's best offering to date. She collaborates with many well-known, talented artists to provide an album thats has elements to suit any mood. Her collaboration with Aaaliyah provides the sexy element, while her collaboration with Eminem provides the pop/mainstream element. I think the track "Hot Boyz" is fabulous, however I prefer the remix with Nas, Eve and Q-Tip. I was a little disappointed that this was not included in the album. Overall, this album is excellent and better than the first. Missy provides her trademark solid beats to perfection. I would recommend this album to those that like their Hip-Hop but with an R&B flava....
