Breaking Benjamin: Phobia
I was recommended this CD by a friend who is into all this G-Unit stuff so I wasn't so sure I would like this, But they lent me the CD anyway after I reluctantly agreed on giving them a try. I was shocked to begin with because this really isn't my friends type of music he is always saying bad stuff about the rock genre and I was impressed by the band. This is a wonderful CD to listen to personally I enjoyed it.
Intro: Nice little instrumental to open the album with. I love the picking of the guitar it stays strong for the whole 1 min( estimate) of the track.
Diary Of Jane: Probably my favourite track off the whole album including the acoustic version of this track. The band keep the rhythm going and use the lyrics well. The vocals are outstanding
Breath: Another great track with a great rhythm, I think though what captured me with this track was the beat. It's one of those beats that you will find yourself tapping hours after you have listened to the track, It's simple to memorize.
You: This track has awesome vocals and they get better 40 seconds into the song. The guitaring is easy to learn, I wanted to learn it and I thought it would be difficult because I can't read music, so my teacher transferred it to tabs for me and it was really simple. It is a great track to listen to if you are gonna give this band a try I suggest you youtube this song it's really amazing.
Evil Angel: The start of this track has a heavy metal feeling to it and it sounds a bit like something Disturbed would do but when the vocals start that really goes out of the window. It has a strong beat to it and the bass line is simple to learn and to pick out.
Until The End: A very catchy track I have to say. They have a kind of Staind feeling to them with this track and I'm not that keen on Staind but I reckon this band can pull it off. Vocals are Brilliant i would love to see this band live
Dance With The Devil: The lyrics are good to this track although there isn't much to them you really get into the song as if they written three pages full of lyrics. With this track i think it has a slight Metallica feel to it, not much though. Great Track.
Topless: Another heavy metal start and the vocals sound similar to Korn's to begin with but when the chorus starts it tones down a bit. The Rhythm is simple but effective and the beat is a memorizing one.
Here We Are: Not as keen on this song as any of the others its abit to acoustic at the start because it has a bit of an echo to it. About a minuet into the track it picks up but thats for the chorus and then it just slopes back down to echoy acousticness.
Unknown Soldier: After a bit of a downer I was hoping for a better song and I got it. This track is catchy with the vocals and bass line, you also find your foot tapping to the beat.
Had Enough: I like the start it gets your attention and keeps you interested through-out with the rhythm. Vocals as per usual are great and the beat is awesome and easy to learn.
You Fight Me: I didn't know what to say about this track I mean don't get me wring it is good very good, but I don't know it's different to the other tracks. It's slower but still has the heavy metal feeling to it. It has a nice easy piano tune in it aswell.
Outro: It has the same rhythm as the Intro but a slight different riff and you don't get as much background noise as you do in the Intro, but you still get them
The Diary Of Jane (Acoustic Version) When it says acoustic version you think oo nice acoustic guitars because thats what most bands do, but this band went a different way their acoustic style is piano and they took this track and turned it from heavy metal to a nice song to listen to Heck my mum even likes it! I'm currently doing Clair De Lune on piano but this is my next peice, I really do love it, It's different.
People say this is a pop punk band but I don't really think that, They have more of a heavy metalness to them.
