Walk the Line - the music
Review of Walk The Line [ECD] - Various Artists by
NewYork2006
Advantages: Great foot tapping sing-along tracks
Disadvantages: /
.... A great start to the cd (and to the film) and one to get singing along to.
2. I Walk the Line - again sung by Phoenix. This is a much slower song but one of Cash's most famous which may be why the film was named after it.
3. Wildwood Flower - Reese Witherspoon. A beautiful song, slow and great to just sit and relax to.
4. Lewis Boogie - Waylon Malloy Payne. Another great one to dance to, has Rock 'n' Roll vibes to it as well as country.
5. Ring of Fire - Phoenix. This one is one of my favourite Cash songs and I think Phoenix does it justice. Another slow one but still great!
6. You're my Baby - Johnathan Rice. I havent heard of this song before but it is another great Rock 'n' Roll style song.
7. Cry Cry Cry - Phoenix. Definately a foot tapper.
8. Folsom Prison Blues - Phoenix. This was the first ever Johnny Cash song that I ever...

My favorite album of 2006
Review of It's Never Been Like That - Phoenix by
phoenix90
Advantages: Fresh and Powerful
Disadvantages: I still don't see...
...Phoenix is a band from Versailles, France, formed 10 years ago and which (finally!) starts to know some success in its own country. And how they deserve it!
The album in question has been the number one in my top list of 2006, and is still high ranked this year. There is only 10 tracks but I dare to say, even after one year of listening, that every track is a pure marvel!
From the 1st to the 4th track, you will be transported by a loaded but harmonious collection of guitar, bass, battery and electronic sounds. These tracks are really swinging and joyful, this is not the kind of rock which makes you feel edgy.
From the 5th to 7th, you will breathe a bit listening to some cooler titles with melancholic accents.
The 8th is an interlude, very calm, relaxing, lasting 5 good minutes, the time to make your excitment grow while waiting...

HP2 Soundtrack Review - Brilliant
Review of Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets - Original Soundtrack by
mikeywhitto
Advantages: Reunion of Friends is unbelievable
Disadvantages: Spiders track not great to listen to as a CD
... Overview
This Harry Potter soundtrack took me a while to get into, especially compared to the Order of the Phoenix (Nicholas Hooper) where I was hooked from the start. But once I got into it I realised just how original and fantastic it is. The traditional HP theme is used on a few occasions although there are many new tunes created by the legendary John Williams - such as Fawkes the Phoenix. Here is a list of all the tracks on the CD and I have described a number of them below:
Tracks
1. Prologue: Book II And The Escape From The Dursley's
2. Fawkes The Phoenix
3. Chamber Of Secrets
4. Gilderoy Lockhart
5. Flying Car
6. Knockturn Alley
7. Introducing Colin
8. Dueling Club
9. Dobby The House Elf
10. Spiders
11. Moaning Myrtle
12. Meeting Aragog
13. Fawkes Is Reborn
14. Meeting Tom Riddle
15. Cornish Pixies
16. Polyjuice...
