I was watching Classic FM TV one day and saw Simon Mulligan playing Band of Brothers and it really was absolutely amazing. However, at the end of the video it didnt say the name of the track or who performed it. It was so good though that I quickly went on the internet and found the name of the person playing it and realised that he had made a CD. I can't remember how much the CD cost but it wasnt any more than £10 and so I decided to buy it, after hearing only one of the tracks from it. The 'risk' I took when buying it though was one that was worth taking.
This CD is a really good. It has a wide variety of music, with music from composers like J.S. Bach and Beethoven through ones like Shostakovich, Chopin and Walton to modern composers like Michael Kamen, Eric Clapton and Simon Mulligan himself. Although there are a few weaker tracks like Nocturne in E flat, Op. 9, No. 2, Andante from Piano Concerto No. 2, Op 101 and A Leopard's Lullaby, the rest of the tracks are amazing, expecially Band of Brothers, Tears in Heaven and Live to Tell and these really good ones cancel out the effect of the bad ones. It's a good CD to have playing as background music and is really calming - I like to have it playing while reading or doing homeworks as it is nive calming music that doesnt really divert your attention from the work that you are doing. It was well worth the money I spent on it.

If you can get into Enya, then this is in my opinion the best of her 5 albums and is a very passionate and romantic album, which is great with a glass of wine, candles, nice food, an open fire, followed by...........
