Advantages: A strong British sitcom Disadvantages: Still has it's odd critic
Name a decent British sitcom from the last 5 years....now name one that isn't written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant....or David Mitchell and Robert Webb...all you're left with (in my opinion) is a little known sitcom written by Ruth Jones and James Corden that has escalated from a bit-part in the schedule of BBC Three to one of the most loved comedies of recent years - Gavin & Stacey.
The story goes of two people who have never met, Gavin (Matthew Horne) and Stacey (Joanna Page), but eventually decide to do so after months of chatting to one another over the phone. Upon meeting in the middle of Leicester Square along with their best mates, Smithy (played by Corden) and Nessa (Jones), they hit it off and decide it was one of the best decisions they ever made. The same can't be said about Smithy and Nessa however...

Advantages: Mega Fun Disadvantages: Rides do breakdown a lot.
Thorpe Park is a small UK Theme Park situated in the Chertsey, Staines. It doesn't get many visitors compared to some other parks but without a doubt it is home to some of the UK's best rides.
**The Park**
Thorpe Park is one of few theme parks in England and has to battle tough competition from places like Alton Towers and Chessington.
It is home to some of the most known rides in England such as Nemesis Inferno and Colossus, which is known worldwide in theme park world. Thorpe Park opened many years ago now and started off with rides for little children like the little car things that go round a little track etc.. it was quite a while though before they got their first rollercoaster.
Thorpe Park is currently closed for the winter and will reopen on March 15th with whats tipped to be the UK's best rollercoaster. Its been going ...
Advantages: Fun for adults, fun for children, good day out Disadvantages: Overpriced, queing times
I have been visiting Thorpe Park since I was a child. The last time I visited was last year so that's primarily what I'll be basing this review on.
The park is situated in Stains, Surrey and is open from February to November each year. I go by car, it is all very well signed up and easy to find. You can also get there easily by train, where you can then get a shuttle bus to and from the station and the park. Coach trips also run regularly from London Victoria.
The park opens between 9.30 - 10.00am depending on when you visit and closes between 5.00 - 10.00pm depending again on when you visit. The last time I visited we got there at about 10.30am and had no problems parking, although queing for tickets wasn't much fun. Tickets cost us a ghastly £35.00 each (although I found out afterwards that you can get adult tickets for £26 ...
