As many of you may have already guessed from some of my other reviews ? my two year old daughter absolutely loves Peppa Pig. Unlike many other programmes she likes, I actually enjoy this one too (after seeing it over and over daily how can I not start to like it!) and as of yet, I have not got to the point where I am wanting to throw the television out of the window whenever it is on which is a really great sign!

Peppa Pig is a lovely animated television programme seen on channels such as Nick Junior and Channel Five Milkshake. It is created by Astley Baker Davies and E1 Entertainment and at time of writing this review has three seasons worth of five minute shows. I love penguins and everything to do with them and I also seem to be passing this love on to my two little girls. Everytime we see a story book about penguins it seems we have to read it! This latest one - Perky Little Penguins - they absolutely love!
This story is written by Tony Mitton and is illustrated by Guy Parker-Rees and it is absolutely wonderful from the first word. In fact even before you open the book, you get a good flavour by looking at the lively, vibrant colourful picture on the cover. As you can see this story is definitely going to involve some 'perky little penguins'.
