My Pill

Advantages: unprotected safe sex, lighter periods.
Disadvantages: Weight gain, doesn't protect from STD's

started taking it again the weight has come back on again. I do still get PMT and stomach cramps but not as bad as I used to. My periods or bleeding are lighter and don't last as long, normally about 3 days. I find that if I take two packs of pills, one after the other then I would get a heavier period at the end. If you become ill during taking the pill it may have an effect on how effective the pill is, especially if you are prescribed antibiotics. you are advised by your GP to use alternative methods of contraption whilst taking the antibiotics and for 7 days after. I decided to go on the pill as I wanted to be fully protected as possible against getting pregnant and it was the easiest thing to take. It is a bit of a faff and worry at first as your not sure if it's working, but as long as you take the pill each night for 21 days ...
