An album of remixed Phil Collins tracks performed by r&b and hip hop artists. Risky, seeing as the man himself as churned out classic after classic and as you can imagine it wasnt well received by, well anyone. I did however purchase because i like Phil Collins and i like hip hop & r&b so i took a chance. I should have spent my money on buying that indoor ten pin bowling set instead. Saying that there is a couple of decent tunes on here but as a whole, not the greatest ive spent my money on Tracks Another Day In Paradise - Ray J & Brandy. The single to come off this album was received quite well, not a bad video and the brother sister duet that everyone wanted to hear. An up to date version but not better than the original. You may find me saying that more often than not Sussudio - Ol Dirty Bastard. Shocking. No resemblence ...

Where the Lost Things Go? A Place Called Here . . .

Advantages: Hearing the 'authentic' Irish Accent; the abridging makes the story less meandering
Disadvantages: Some of the incidental plot nuances are lost in the abridging; have to change discs.

I must confess that I was bought the Paperback version of this book first . . . my husband bought a "Best Seller" at the library that was being sold off for 50p and I read it the same night. It was one 'off the wall' book which really struck a chord with me, as my husband often 'tears the house apart" looking for something he mislays; and sometimes it doesn't turn up at all . . . . Or I am looking for a particular CD or Cassette, and I can find the case ~ but it is empty ~ Where HAVE all the lost things gone? Well, it's A Place Called Here according to this book by Dublin-born Cecelia Ahern. She's got some wacky theories, but this one is pretty amazing! . I really did want to hear this in the "original tongue" (Oirr-ish*) as it were, though, and having an Amazon voucher to spend, I couldn't resist buying the audio version ...

Housework Songs

Advantages: Good rhythms to do the housework to, some excellent songs
Disadvantages: Some songs will appeal to some and not to others.

is a reminder its time to get down to the back of the cupboard in the hall and clear it out, "I'm sitting down here, but hey you can't see me, kind of invisible." Blondie - Sunday Girl - Good one to do some general cleaning as the beat changes, when she sings "Hurry up" you can scrub those cupboards or work surfaces hard. Your kitchen will be gleaming and you'll be finished in no-time! Mental As Anything - Live It Up - This one you can wash the dishes to, it's a slower song but you can sing along at the same time "Hey you with the sad face, come up to my place and live it up" Your face won't be sad doing the dishes when you've got this CD to sing along to. Cliff Richard - Wired For Sound - Not everyone is a Cliff fan but this song should get you going this is a good one for cleaning the windows to, wipe in time to the music ...
