...Some of you who?ve read a few of my previous albums may have picked up on the fact that I like Phil Collins. Well, I?ll let you into in a widely known secret that isn?t really a secret anyway ? he?s my favourite solo artist! I bet you never expected that! ?..Ok, you saw it coming a mile off. Back to the review. ;-D NB ? Genesis is a favourite band of mine too. Phil Collins was in Genesis, don?t you know! :-D But Seriously is a great album. It was the album that introduced me to the music of Phil Collins, although this album is quite a bit different to his previous works, following a more upbeat theme. He?s turned to a more live sound now, going from a jazz-rock sound to something more pop-like or even alternative. Every track is worth a listen in its own way. ...Another Christmas present I was very happy to receive, I love Phil Collins' music but haven't ever got round to buying a CD so to get a set of 3 of his CD's in one was great. I Hadn't heard the majority of the tracks on the album so it was interesting to hear some of his music which was totally new to me. I am not going to review each track individually as there are 35 tracks altogether and I think everyone would be snoring before they finish reading ................. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The First disc is an album called Face Value - There are 12 tracks on this disc.
