...Love them or hate them Queen will always be a group that will stay in the memory of our generation,simply because their success throughout the years has echoed around discos and parties when we were younger,karaoke machines nationwide or stealing the show at live aid some twenty odd years ago.you know that you could always name a Queen track if asked to do so.I am writing this review with an open mind and having played this cd many times this is my opinion. May i point out that this review is for the platinum collection that was released in 2000 then re-released in 2006 with the new cd cover in a platinum coloured cardboard sleeve.There is no difference to the content of the cd's THE PACKAGING........ A silver coloured 3 cd set with the three greatest hits albums displayed on the front with the simple Queen name above... Read review

Advantages: 2 CDs - bought it cheap from ebay - lots of songs
Disadvantages: had most of the songs anyway!

...long!!....... anyway - overall i have to say that even though there are a few really good songs on this album - they are mainly really old songs and nothing new and fresh - i know it is a platinum collection but there aren't any of the classics of RnB that i would choose to put on a collection like this.. most of the song lyrics are lovey dovey which is good if you like that sort of thing but sometimes i think RnB should be more uplifting and not all about being in love & relationships.. i would not recommend anyone to buy this - u probably have all the songs anyway & even if you dont - they are not the best songs that the artists that are featured on this album have released.. thanks for reading - hope this review helped anyone who was thinkin of getting this.. ...ub40 labour of love 1-3 the platinum collection is one of best albums i've brought. all three cds have the some of the best songs from ub40. there are thirty eight tracks on this album which mean theres a couple of hours of listening to one of the best bands in reggae.i listen to this album more than any of the other albums i have from the ub40 collection as i listen to this album at least every week.personally i think ub40 are one of the best reggae bands to come out of birmingham anyway. as they have songs you can listen to whatever your mood. people should listen to this kind of music more as you hardly hear it any more. so if your a fan of reggae and ub40 this album is a must have....
