Review of Nintendo Wii

Play and charge, good when it works

Advantages: Brilliant easy to use
Disadvantages: unreliable

I have now bought two of these one of the Xbox versions and a cheaper version. The idea behind this is that the Xbox controller comes with a pack that fits two double A batteries but these are a bit of a waste of time because they run out of power so quickly. When you buy this play and charge kit it has a power lead and a rechargeable battery. The idea is that you connect the power lead to the Xbox by a USB connection and the other end is attached to the controller. It charges the battery as you play The Xbox version is definitely a better quality than the other brands but I have had problems with the one I bought. It only charges sporadically and I keep running out of charge. Very annoying! I won't criticise it to much because I bought it at Gamestation, it was pre owned. Wii Play: I recently hired Wii play from Tesco DVD Rentals to see if I liked it before buying it and I enjoyed it a lot so I thought I would review it for all of you. Wii Play is the kind of game that is great for when you have a group of friends around with several different mini-games to play. There is a multi-player function allowing for two people to play at once. Because the games are short, (a minute or so max), you can all take it turns to play without anyone getting bored whilst still allowing enough time for toilet/cuppa breaks. There are seven different mini-games on Wii Play and these are: Shooting Range: This is my favourite game and it involves shooting at various moving targets.
