After the incredible success of the Pokemon animated series, leading to a global influx in the sale of Pokemon merchandise, it was only a matter of time until a movie was released. Simply named ?Pokemon: The First Movie? the popularity of the franchise made for an expected huge box office hit all over the world. Before the actual film started you are treated to a mini-film, ?Pikachu?s Vacation? is where Pikachu and the rest of the gangs Pokemon get treated to a rest at a holiday camp. Here they get into a disagreement with a rival gang within the camp and partake in a series of different challenges to see who is the better team, but along the way they are forced to pull together and work as one collective team, therefore becoming friends along the way. Review of Pokemon The First Movie (Animated) (DVD)

The first ever pokemon movie

Advantages: Good for younger eyes
Disadvantages: extremely outdated

flames .......... Characters All the usual characters such as Ash with his bravery and all-round love for his fav pet and pokemon Pikachu , Misty with her mysterious water pokemon, Brock chasing girls as usual and Team Rocket trying to steal pokemon as well as cause trouble . All these as well as some all poweful characters such as Mew an original one of a kind extremely rare pokemon and it's evil clone Mewtwo. Soundtrack Nothing special mainly the same-old Pok-e-mon theme tune . I would probably not watch this again as I consider myself a bit old for it but I definitely reccomend it to kids aging between about 3-8 years of age . Pokémon The First Movie

Advantages: Good pokemon use
Disadvantages: None

. The ferry had to be canceled because of the storm. Loads of other trainers got this invite too. Most of them try to brave the storm. Ash and the gang take a lift with Vikings?!?! :S Who they soon found out were Team rocket and they all swam the way to the island. They were picked up out of the water by the same inviter. They soon find out who is the Pokemon Master in the lab. Mewtwo! All their pokemon start getting captured and taken to be cloned. Will Ash and the gang and the other trainers get their pokemon back? Will mewtwo lose? And what ever happened to Mew? Find out as the story goes on by watching it. Bonus Fetures: Short film "Pikachu's Vacation" What pokemon do to have fun.
