Well well well, here we are... You have stumbled accross the paths of ME... not much to say about me really. Music loving guy, I play in several rock bands, I'm friendly, easy to get along with, and love living. There we go.

There was a stage in my time when I was suffering from SLOM (Severe Lack Of Mirth). This meant I did not laugh half as much as I should. Possibly not even a quarter. Well, here my folks, you are looking at the best possible cure for SLOM. Weird Al. Poodle Hat, which incidentally is one of his latest CD's, promises the buyer both laughter, mirth and satisfaction. It completes this far too well.
For those of you who don't know of Weird Al, I will fill you in briefly. He is an unbelievabely talented music artist, who is often dubbed "The King Of Parody", as most of his memorable songs are parodies of famous songs that just need the Micky taking out of them. He does however, write songs of his very own from scratch as well, all of which are just as hillarious as his parodies.
On this CD's his parodies include songs such as "I want it that way" - backstreet boys, and "Lose yourself" - Eminem. Half of the songs are entirely of his own creation, and range from him singing about hardware stores, to parties with lepors. As well as his parodies and own genius creations, you get "The Angry White Boy Polka" - and trust me when I say this. To understand quite what it is, and the extent of its humour, you simply need to hear it. Just go and buy the CD and listen.
I must say that this CD is one of his better albums (even though I can't really fault any of the others). I like ALL Weird Al material... but for some reason, this one holds a special place in my heart.
It isn't bad value for money either. Infact, considering what you will recieve from this album (days of countless laughter, a cure for SLOM, inspiration, a really weird feeling in the pit of your stomach... the list goes on), ANY price would be good value for money. As it happens, the official price from Al's own website is $14.98 (for us British consumers out there that's roughly 8 quid). Which is NOT a bad price at all. But if you are a miser, you can get it for around a fiver probably from ebay. I did.
Uncle Harris's Suggestion: I am not even kidding about this. Not even "bigging up the product", or am not even under the influence of demand characteristics. Seriously just GO BUY THE ALBUM RIGHT NOW! I don't care WHAT you are doing. Just do it.
