Advantages: Nice beat, good tune. Disadvantages: Video
...Well where can i start?
Heard this played on Top Of The Pops and didn't really like it.
Then i heard it again and i thought it was ok and now i love it, after hearing it about 5 times it has really grown on me and i find myself playing it all the time and singing along.
The video is really something must have cost a lot to make, but being N'Sync it woukd have been hardly anything to them. Although the video does look expensive i don't really like it i think it's very 'sad' lol!
The song itself is just what they promised still their trademark pop but very dancey as well which is just what was needed to make N'Sync seem a bit more 'fresh'. A lot of pop bands are turning to a more dancey sort of song....

Advantages: Gritty, raw and original. Disadvantages: None!

..." a light rock song by the New Radicals who wrote other hits such as "On The Horizon" with Melanie C and "Life Is a Rollercoaster" for Ronan Keating.
I also love the N Sync track, which reached Number 40 on the UK charts in 1997 from what I remember. The rest of the tracks I either like or can't remember to be honest, even after I'd heard them again!
The album is essentially pure pop but there are some dance artistes in there eg Apollo 440 and Fat Boy Slim. Representing the tailend of the Britpop era are Catatonia and Stereophonics.
The cassette cover is a bright kaleidoscope of colour. It has "Fat Pop Hits" in blue writing against a spangly red and green background.
Overall, this is an odd compilation, even for the time. There are mainly big hits of 1999 and some earlier 1990s songs. I think it may be good for nostaligia...
