Advantages: Fascinating story, evocative details, beautiful writing Disadvantages: I didn't want it to end
..."A Portrait of a Turkish Family" is an autobiographical work that tells the story of one Ottoman family from the turn of the twentieth century through the First World War and the establishment of Turkey as a republic.
Irfan Orga was the eldest of three children; his mother was born into the harem - as were most women of such standing - and married at the age of thirteen. When the book opens, Irfan and his parents and younger brother live with his paternal grandparents and a host of servants. Orga describes an often idyllic childhood with warmth and humour, depicting the childlike vigour of his mother, the haughtiness of his grandmother and the kindness of the servants. One memorable episode describes a trip to the hamam (Turkish baths) with his mother and grandmother that is like a trip to the beach with the servants instructed to...

Advantages: great theme park for adrenaline junkies and calmer people Disadvantages: not really suitable for a bank holiday Monday outing
...of the facilities as ciao have a little combo box for it. They are great, toilets are spotless and around every corner, the bins are emptied every time you think of putting something in one and the pavements/streets are also very clean. All round, the standard of the park is next to none apart from other parks.

Advantages: Great superstar, Latino style manner. Disadvantages: Losing a great athlete
...for the ladies. One in particular he had good relationship with, female wrestler China, who they called the 'ninth world wonder of the world.'
Eddie's death in 2005, came as a huge shock to every wrestling fan, and the wresting company itself. Before his death, they lined him up one more shot at the World Heavyweight title; it was supposed to be a triple threat match against the 'Legend Killer' Randy Orton, and the 'Animal' Batista. With all that been said, my experience of Eddie's life and this DVD, has certainly been an amazing and emotional one.
This is surely the ultimate tribute to a great athlete, superstar and performer. Viva La Raza Eddie, rest in peace.
