Advantages: Good selection of skream tracks
Disadvantages: the frequencies tend to stay in the same conceptual space too often

again with Cluekid on a more intense bass-snaking downwards. A cool track by Skream called sinisterize is minimal with a one note horn riff and cool technical drums. Kode 9 comes with an abstract turn in the mix. Next is a v. popular bass shifting track from benga. Coki comes with an equally bassy shifting track. The tracks continue with variations on the above tracks mentioned and stay equally bassy and in touch with one another. There are more interesting Skream tracks towards the end of the disc. Overall the cd is interesting but can become repetative with time. But it is a good look at what was going on in the world of skream in 2007 ...

Scarface (Music inspired by the movie) - Various Artists

Advantages: A few scarface film samples
Disadvantages: Nearly the whole thing

Many people have been influenced by the scarface film and the rap genre has especially referenced to it man songs. This is now an official compilation of songs with money, power and respect themes. as you would imagine, all are rap. Put together in 2003, this def jam idea includes songs by Nas, Mobb Deep and Notorious BIG, some made especially for the album some old tracks that just fit. None appear in the film but there are samples and dialouge used from the picture. Tracks Its Mine - Mobb Deep & Nas. Scarface cues used as the sample in this one which was originally put t ogether in 99. A good relevant track to start the album Yeo - Cam'ron. Samples Rush Rush which is used in the film, rush rush get the yayo may be more familiar. best bit about the song is actually the sample with cam'rons raps not adding much but loads ...

Vol. 2... even better

Advantages: Good tracks, bonus material
Disadvantages: A few too many mixes

Have already rated the previous album (put your hands up vol.1) and many of my points apply to this album aswell. After continually listening to the first album i decided to buy this one aswell and again i was not disappointed. There is again a brilliant mix of tracks over 3 CD's including several remixes and club mixes such as that of Camille Jonesvs Fedded le Grande-The Creeps (club mix). This i believe to be one of the best but there are 62 other tunes that you will just want to get up and dance to. Again, as like the previous album there is bonus content on CD1 including 3 awesomw music videos including Fedde Le Grande-Put your hands up and Alex Gaudino-Destination Calabria. This is a really nice touch to the album and makes it a real gem. ...
