Advantages: It's a classic and brilliantly sung
Disadvantages: some people with ignore it as it is a musical

.... Tony (Romeo) falls for Maria (Juliette) and they are members of rival gangs the Jets and Sharks respectively. When Maria's brother finds out there is all hell to pay, ha challenged the Jets to a best fighter verses best fighter but then at the fight things get out of the hand and Bernado (Maria's brother) kills Riff (Jet leader) and Tony kills Bernado and then has to run from the poilce. As with Romeo and Juliette the end is tragic and young love is wickedly cut short.... Read review

Advantages: Diverse selection
Disadvantages: none really

...This album is very good, it contains a diverse selection of songs, there is something on here for all music tastes. It also has something for all moods from the sombre "talkshow host" by Radiohead to the upbeat party anthem "young hearts run free" by Kym Mazelle. I strongly reccommend this soundtrack regardless of your view of the film or whether indeed you have even seen it. I like the fact that there are well known songs on here such as "You and me song" by the Wannadies as well as less famous songs such as "Angel" by Gavin Friday. This soundtrack really will appeal to most music tastes as well as most ages. I highly reccommend this soundtrack as you can listen to it again and again without getting bored of the diverse selection of music.... Read review

Advantages: A lovely, happy album
Disadvantages: I really can't find any

...Wow! I've only just bought this album, but it has me already. Track after track after track of wonderful vocals and technically perfect guitar playing. The Magic Numbers are Romeo and Michele Stodart and Sean and Angela Gannon. Romeo is the genius behind the songwriting and is the guitar player, Sean is on the drums, Michele on bass and vocals whilst Angela provides the percussion, melodica and third vocals. The band was nominated for 'Best new act' in the 2005 Mojo honours list. My personal favourites are 'FOREVER LOST', 'WHICH WAY TO HAPPY' and 'MORNING ELEVEN'. I almost want to list all of the trakcs as my favorites. The first track Morning's Eleven shows what the band are capable of. Its not just a great song, its a whole 5 minute Rock Opera complete with all the mood swings and time signature changes you would expect. I see you... Read review
