...Eminem (Marshall Bruce Mathers the 3rd) was born in Kansas on 17th October 1974. Marshall’s dad left him a few months after he was born and left mother (Deborah) to cope on her own. When Marshall got to the age of 9 his uncle Ronnie Pinkinghorne played Marshall a rap cd. Marshall liked it so much he bought his first cd N.W.A. Everyday Marshall would stand in front of the mirror lip syncing to the likes of Ice cube,mc ren and Dr dre. When Marshall was in his teens uncle Ronnie killed himself, this had a dramatic effect on Marshall and in the 9th grade he decided to drop out of school. Born on October 17th 1974, Marshall Mathers has produced and co-wrote 2 of the biggest selling Albums of all time. Marshall grew up travelling from Kansas City (his home town) to Detroit - with his Mother, living in a trailer park homes, and changing schools constantly. He grew up never knowing his father - until now, he has reached stardom. His letters to his father were never responded to, which has lead to Marshall writing abuot his hard life in his lyrics.
