...If you mix a little funk with a bit of a hip hop influence, a bit of jazz, anything else you can think of and add G. Love's signature harmonica you get a bit of an idea of G. Love's sound. Yup, this band are pretty hard to categorize, a good thing in my opinion, though the fact that they're close personal friends with the Fun Lovin Criminals is a little bit of a hint as to their style. G. Love & SS are best as a live band but this album is probably the next best way to experience them. It's a bit of a mixed bag but includes some pretty cool numbers, try the title track for one.... ...this album is great, i cannot find one song on it that i dont like, they are all really cool, if you liked there hit "all the small things",your gonna love this album, its has "all the small things" and much more, there are only 12 songs but that doesnt matter, they are all great to listen to and have really good lyrics which you will find yourself singing to and bouncing around the room to. The album itself is pretty short, about 35 minutes, but that doesnt matter,all the songs are great and all i do is listen to it several times over, it never gets boring(not to me anyway), i listen to it for hours on end, anyone who loves rock, go and buy this now, its my favourite album and it will be yours too.... ...The latest US punk band to cross over and 'do an Offspring,' Blink 182 had a big hit with 'All The Small Things,' following up with 'What's My Age Again?' This is their album, and, much as in pains me to say so, it's a stinker. Even if you can put up with the puerile, misogynistic, 'frat-boy' humour that pervades so much of the American nu-skool punk scene, you can't get away from the fact pretty much every track is a lumpen, plodding mess, with few redeeming features. Blink, and, hopefully, you'll miss them.... Read review
