I purchased this on vinyl way too many years ago to think about!
I loved it then and now, getting it out and playing brings back great memories.
Adam Ant was cool, and his music was fun.
He inspired many a girl and boy to put a white plaster across their nose, a little plait in the front of their hair and pretend to be adam ant LOL
I know i did at youth club discos!
The music is never going to win any awards, but it has to go down in pop history all the same, and bringing it out is great fun, reminisicing about younger days.
I loved prince charming, the video was well ahead of its class at the time, what was with that heart on the cheek though adam??
Stand and deliver is a classic, that most people my age (29) will know the lyrics to, if they hated the song or not you bet they can sing the lyrics to it... "stand and deliver, your money or your life"
At the time people were shocked at this loud man wearing make up, frilly shirts, baggy trousers, he made an impact for sure.
Ant rap is a bit of non starter, but again me I can remember the lyrics "marco merrick terry lee, gary tibbs and yours truly, in the naughty north and the sexy south, were all singing i have the mouth" this video featured diana dors nonetheless!!
For some late 70's early 80's nostalgia listen to this album....
