Advantages: The music perhaps? Disadvantages: None
...I stole this cd off my brother after listening to it at his house. It's not really scary type hardrock, it's just nice. It has songs by The Queens, Against All authority, Mustard Plug & The nobodys as well as loads more. It's even got a cover of Walk Like an Egyptian which is absoloutely amazing. It's not for lovers of pop but more for people who like The Offspring, Less Than Jake, etc. My favourite song in the world is on this album, it's called Lolita and it's by Mustard Plug, It's just great and every time I hear it, I'm singing it for hours. If sombody asked me if they should buy it or not, I would drag them down to the shop, sit and wait till it was open, that is if it was closed, and make them buy it while shouting 'BUY IT NOW! NOW! NOW!' repeatedly....

Advantages: Variations of well known songs. Disadvantages: none
...Brill album, much better than the first Radio one live lounge album. All tracks have been previously played on the radio one live lounge with Joe Willie, but I never get a chance to listen to them all first time they are on the radio, so its nice to hear them all.
Some tracks really funny and are all by well-known artist's. The artists and bands either record alternative recordings of there own songs or ones by other artists, which is really interesting.
I really love the Amy winehouse - Valerie its a slower version and is really good. It features allot of the top 40 bands and gives you a chance of hearing unusual tracks that you would not normally hear from such band albums.
Highly Recommended....

Advantages: Cant get these live performances anywhere else Disadvantages: Some are terrible
...I had been anticipating this album for a long time ever since I heard it advertised on Radio 1 itself. To think we could purchase a whole load of different artists live performances on CD hadnt been heard of before. Simply brilliant idea, and a great way to beat the non-paying online downloaders.
Some of the perfomances are simply brilliant. Bands such as Coldplay, Snow Patrol and Keane are even better live than on your regular CD perfomance.
Though some are truly awful, bands such as Queens of the Stone Age and The Automatic simply bring this album back down to average.
The best thing radio one have done is limit the small and frankly poor bands and kept the so called major bands who are alot better. Oasis, Arctic Monkeys and Razorlight's performances easily oust that of Dizzee Rascal, Editors and Jamie Cullum who I simply skip every...
