Advantages: Classic tracks, diverse, some great versions.
Disadvantages: Not everyone's cup of tea

...Joe Brown and the Bruvvers were around in the early to mid sixties. They were not really my sort of thing but Hubby, being slightly older than me, was a fan. Shopping recently he saw a CD, The Very Best of Joe Brown, 50th Anniversary and promptly bought it. This CD shows me, anyway, that many of the tracks were from a slightly earlier period than I had thought. After all 50 years ago it would have been 1958. Joe Brown was a spiky haired youth before spiky hair was ever thought about. He was always seen as an affable cheeky cockney, who looks and seems no different all these years later. Born in 1941 he began his musical career in 1956 with his backing band The Spacemen. This band was to become The Bruvvers. I guess as musicians Joe Brown and The Bruvvers were all under-rated. Advantages: 2 cd's for the price of 1
Disadvantages: you may have 4+ song from the 2nd cd if you have forgotten freshness 1,2

...singles from europe halloween special given away at gig's or just remixes that were never used. Over all this series is very good I have both volumes 1,2,4, I currently dont have volume 3 as ive been told it is a little poor plus some of the track's I have already ON A SPECIAL EDITION release WHATS ON WHAT CD ' The first cd contain's 17 track which are either remixes or unused track's most of the tracks are hit's and misses but i think that why the name of the album is very fitting for the release(forgotten freshness) because i think some of these tracks should have been forgotten all about lol. The second cd is a hallowicked special and includes 13 halloween track's most of these track's have been release as single's or free on there internet-site at haloween... Read review
