This is an imaginative production on the traditional Jack and the Beanstalk story. While it was made for young kids, the story maintains adequate complexity to keep adults interested. But it really is something worth watching - it sure does have an unusual ending.
Starring Richard Attenborough, Matthew Modine, Vanessa Redgrave, Mia Sara, Daryl Hannah and many more - together they have certainly produced a fantastic film for us to watch. Although these actors aren't famous as say- people like Jennifer Aniston, Cameron Diaz or Brad Pitt or anyone like that, it sure is a great film. This astounding movie is directed by Brian Henson who funnily enough directed a lot of the "Muppets" movies: Muppets ...

Real Life - Here is true stories from people who read the magazine. One of them is called "Greeting Greedy". This story is based on a couple who have won the lottery.
Another story is about patsy palmer who played Bianca in Eastenders. It is about mental illness. It also covers what other people say about the illness too ...

Music/Dramatic action:
The basic idea and storyline behind the DVD is that Roy Hudd (who incidentally, acts wonderfully well in this...) as Serge Prokofiev would be seen engrossed in his favourite game of chess, when he hears his March in B flat played in the background. Intrigued he'd be enticed into the opera house where a second-rate theatre company which is putting on a performance of "Peter and the Wolf." He enters backstage and bribes the actor playing the role of Grandfather to let him take his part. It is a fun start to the DVD as we see the REAL Claudio Abbado cleverly morph into his Spitting Image - um - spitting image and battle to take over the conducting of the March from 3 other naughty misbehaving conductors who look remarkably like Maestri Zubin Mehta, Herbert von Karajan and Seiji Ozawa - it is beautifully ...
