Clifford's Tower stands on the top of a green, grassy mound of earth right in the heart of York's town centre. It has the appearance of a miniature castle, but it is actually all that now remains of the former keep of the castle that once stood on the level ground below here. This site at ground level is now occupied by three different large buildings, two of which form the York Castle Museum and the other is now used as the town's court building. It is obvious at first sight why such a defence would originally been built in this location. As one of the highest points above sea level in York this position would have afforded views for many miles. Advantages: Convenient location, informative historical site with magnificent views.
Disadvantages: No audio guide available. No disability and toilet facilities.

Clifford the not so big red dog!!!!

Advantages: Suitable for all!!
Disadvantages: Could be more episodes on dvd!

and dvds. ~~~THE DVD~~~ The dvd that i will review is actually part of a follow on series to the original series, "Clifford the big red dog". These episodes are meant to be stories from Cliffords birth. The story goes that Emily had Clifford from a litter that her neighbour, Mr Bradleys dog had. She chose Clifford as he was the smallest of the litter, and within 18 months of having him grew into a giant dog because of her love for him!! As the introduction to each episode says - " Love makes little things grow".(please no pun intended!!) The puppy days episodes are just that, they are based on the year before he grows so big that they have to move house. This dvd is called "WINTER SPIRIT", And is based around the first snowfall of the year, and how Clifford and his friends are looking forward to some fun!!!! The dvd consists ...
