A visit to Prospect Cottage is just the answer when you want to be pampered and enjoy magnificent countryside. I have stayed there twice now, once for only one night and once for six nights. The Cottage Prospect Cottage is a 17th Century Grade 2 listed building just one hundred yards from the centre of Northleach in the Cotswolds. Don?t be put off by being so near to the centre, as the town has been by-passed by the new A40 so very little traffic comes anywhere near! It has been given 4 stars and a silver award by the English Tourist Board and fully deserves them. The front door opens into the lounge which can be used by the guests. My walk in the park

Advantages: Peaceful and relaxing
Disadvantages: -

One of the few things I enjoy while in London is relaxing in St. James park. This is one of the few places where I find relaxing in the midst of a fast-paced, noisy yet exciting city. To me, St. James is the Eden of peace, amidst the chaos and frustration that accompanies city life. It is right in front of Buckingham Palace, or should that be round the back of the palace? I have always been under the impression that St. James is towards the back of the palace but because that part of the palace is always the favourite, it has now become the default front!? Anyway, its is not very big and can get quite crowded during the summers. It is rectangular in shape, with a lake in the middle surrounded by luxurious trees and shrubs. Home James!

Advantages: 18 tracks of pure brilliance and some wonderful lyrics

James are probably one of the most under-rated bands of the past 25 years. They formed in Whalley Range, Manchester in 1981. Band members came and went in a flurry of activity until the band came across Tim Booth dancing like a complete loon at a disco they had sneaked into. They invited him to join the band as their dancer (a la Bez in the Happy Mondays) but later he became their vocalist. This 'Best of' collection was released in 1998 and contains eighteen tracks of pure brilliance.
