...those guys at McVities had their fingers on the pulse, in the past 10 years there has been a huge surge in the dipping snack market and McVities needed to muscle in. From some twisted genius they gave us the Penguin Flipper Dippers. According to the box these Flipper Dippers are "chocolate flavoured biscuits with a vanilla and chocolate flavoured dip". Hmmm. Well when I saw that they were in the reduced section of my local Somerfield I just couldn't say no, could I? By parting with £1.07 I managed to secure a box of three pots of Flipper Dippers. So I skipped home to enjoy. The outer box is a sturdy cardboard affair which is red as you would expect from a Penguin branded biscuit. ...Flipper the dolphin has been around ever since I can remember, a young boy befriends a dolphin, the dolphin becomes in danger, the boy rescues flipper and vice versa. ‘Nuff said. This story is about a 14 year old boy who is spending time with his uncle (Paul Hogan) on a little island. It’s there that the boy meets Flipper the Dolphin, who then discovers that Flipper is getting ill because of a company dumping chemicals into the water. So, they try to fight against them creating some Greenpeace and Animal Rights issues along the way. Child awareness I’ll call it. The movie is based on the television series, quite straight forward really. Kid flick.... Read review

Advantages: hamsters will love this cage
