Advantages: Mesmerizing action, detailed sexual scenes, great storylines, Disadvantages: Confusing if not read the first 2 books
~ LOVER AWAKENED. JR WARD ~
( Not an audio book- paperback novel)
Book Three- Lover Awakened is the third book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series and is one of the most tension driven of all the books. This story continues 6 weeks after Lover Eternal finishes so jumps straight into the action and cliff hangers left by the second book. This series is very addictive and had to buy this one after winning the first two books in the series on a raffle.
J R Ward continues her story of the Warrior vampires with the third book focusing on the Brother called Zsadist. I think this book has more action than the first two books as there were a lot of questions that needed answering from Lover Eternal and it gives a brilliant insight to vampires and relationships.

The third book Lover awakened is again based in the city ...
Advantages: Fascinating, compelling, unique [insert lots of praiseworthy words here] Disadvantages: Wealth of medical terminology, lots of literary allusions/psychology/philosophy-can be hard going
profession as the patients ?awoke? from their Parkinsonian state.
Awakenings was written by Oliver Sacks (the young doctor in question), several years later using his notes that he took at the time of the drug trials. Now a highly respected professor of clinical neurology he has also shown a great talent for writing and this book is a fascinating read. The core of the book is the case studies, twenty individual assessments on the patients who received the ?miracle drug? and their individual battles and reactions to L-Dopa. Doctor Sacks has included a great deal of information about their lives before they contracted the virus and has endeavoured to show the individual reactions to the disease as well as the effect it had on their families.
Some of these stories are immensely sad; lives cut short in their prime or before they had even begun ...
Advantages: It's relatively short Disadvantages: It's unoriginal in all aspects
survive and that one of the players is a highly skilled computer hacker, how come the term "electromagnetic pulse" never springs to mind as a way to destroy them? The whole concept feels tired and every aspect has previously appeared elsewhere. The laziest example is the final voice-over monologue that is a very lame steal from "Terminator".
As is usual in Hollywood movies, the cast are all too old for the parts they play. As Mattie, Kristen Bell comes across as a sullen and petulant teen with too much eye make-up. She's the sort of bland movie good girl who is too stupid to empathise with. She doesn't appear to notice her friends are vanishing without trace and doesn't run when she has the chance. She doesn't have enough fight in her to convince as a heroine and you'll be hard pushed to care about anything that happens to her.
Pop tart ...
